Wat Rokal Kandal Centre. A former pagoda from late 18th / 19 century. From February - July 2002 the Cambodian Craft Cooperation (CCC) has renovated the pagoda. Today the centre offers training facilities for wicker-workers and construction workers of traditional Khmer architecture with environmental-friendly materials. Inside the pagoda an exhibition shows the history of traditional Khmer crafts and projects of the CCC and the German Handwerkskammer Koblenz to preserve and innovate this economical sector.
